Class 4 Review
Maths: learning about area of shapes, angles and have also done squared and cubed numbers this year.
English: they have read a book called ‘Face’ and have also been learning about adjectives, verbs, nouns etc.
Science: they have learned about environments of different animals, renewable and non-renewable energy, Elements and chemistry.
Humanities: they have learned about life during Tudor times and have been learning about world war 1.
Careers: looking at viable careers for the future.
PSHE: have been learning about the importance of a healthy relationship.
PE: Have been improving their skills at badminton.
Food tech: Have been learning how to make healthy and hearty meals.
Art: Have been working on collages, painting and designing their own room so that they can make a ‘shoebox room’
ICT: have been learning how to programme whilst using micro bits.
The class have also been going to play football throughout the week. They have also been going swimming every Tuesday since coming back from half term. A few of the lads have also helped out with selling the Christmas trees over the past few weekends.
GCSE Exams
GCSE is the qualification taken by 15 and 16 year olds to mark their graduation from the Key Stage 4 phase of secondary education in England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
